Ready to make a music video
with a sprite way artist?

The chance of a lifetime

Music videos aren’t just about the artist, they are about the community: the director, producer, the artist, and so many other crew members all pushing the limits together. Most of the time a lot of people don’t get the shine they deserve – but Uproxx and Sprite know every member of the team deserves to get put on. So let’s form a group and shoot a music video for a Sprite Way artist.

That’s where you come in

Sprite and Uproxx want to give the community a platform, a space for creators to come together and make the next wave. We’re not looking for experts, just passionate creators looking to impact the world with their art.

So we're looking to fill eight roles: a director, producer, makeup artist, stylist, VFX artist, choreographer, a production designer and a DP. Whatever your passion is, we think there could be room for you on the crew.

Are you the right fit? Know someone in your community who might be?

director
You'll be responsible for seeing the big picture as it pertains to the overall creative vision. We are looking for someone who is a natural leader, can be creative on the fly, can roll with the punches, and can clearly define their creative vision while collaborating with the artist and most importantly, the team!
producer
We are looking for someone who is hard working, can get in line with the director and artist's creative vision, and can help steer the ship. Producers are the unsung heroes of production, they are the first to set and the last to leave. They manage the budget, the schedule, and make sure everyone has their marching orders. Can you lead this team to greatness? If so, this roll is for you!
vfx
More than just animated text, we are looking for someone who knows their way around graphics. Today's music videos are graphics heavy and we are looking for someone who can stand up to that challenge. Maybe the artist wants to be floating in a space while performing - or maybe the director wants to green screen the artist into a forest... We are looking for someone who can put in the work to make something dope!
choreographer
You'll be responsible for working with the Director and Sprite Way Artist to choreograph dancers for the music video. We are looking for someone with a variety of dance training/ background including but not limited to hip-hop, modern, classical, interpretive, etc. We'd like the choreographer to participate as one of the dancers, so dance experience and willingness to dance in the video is a must!
production designer
You'll be responsible for executing all set design work from coming up with creative ideas for the sets with the Director to executing the build and set decoration. Looking for someone who is highly creative, imaginative, resourceful, and loves world building!
dp
You'll be responsible for the look and feel of the project. You'll be responsible for taking the director's vision and adding a bit of your own style to make this video look amazing. The DP should know their lights, lenses, and most importantly, cameras. Creativity is a must in this role, as you'll be the directors right hand.
makeup artist
You'll be responsible for creating a unique makeup/hair look for the Sprite Way Artist. You and the Artist will work together to ensure they feel as confident as possible while creating a special look to complement the set design, lighting, wardrobe, etc.
stylist
You'll set the tone for the vibe of the music video. You and the artist will become close friends as we'll need you to make sure everything they wear is stunning. Working with the overall creative direction and the color pallet set by the director and production designer - you'll make sure the artist shines in this video!

Artist must be available on a first priority, no material interference basis during the Production schedule designated by Sponsor and/or UPROXX in order to be eligible to participate in the Production. Any Artist invited to travel in connection with the Production, and at Sponsor’s expense, will receive roundtrip economy class airfare to/from Los Angeles, CA (or ground transportation, if Artist resides within one hundred and fifty (150) miles radius of Los Angeles, CA, as determined by Sponsor at its sole discretion); and hotel accommodations at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Duration of travel is at Sponsor’s sole discretion, if applicable. Travel and accommodations are for the Artist only. Actual value of travel and accommodations depends on location of Artist, land accommodations and fares at time of booking. Artist must travel on dates determined by the Sponsor. Any transportation expenses and/or meals not provided by Sponsor are the sole responsibility of Artist. Sponsor is not responsible if any Artist is denied access to any aircraft. Artist is solely responsible for obtaining any and all necessary travel documents.

NOTIFICATION: Prior to travel, an invited Artist will be notified by Sponsor and/or UPROXX’s travel administrator ("Administrator") via email based on the information provided on the respective Application form and must confirm receipt of email notification from Administrator within twenty four (24) hours of deployment. Upon email confirmation, the Administrator will email Artist: (a) a Declaration or an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability and Work-for-Hire Contract (including Appearance Release); and (b) any other documents required by Sponsor and/or UPROXX (collectively, the "Notification Documents") for the invited Artist to complete, sign and return within three (3) days of date specified on notification. Failure to return Notification Documents, and/or Artist’s failure to fully comply with these T&Cs may cancel the invitation to travel. At Sponsor’s and/or UPROXX’s sole discretion, and as permitted by law, a background check may be conducted on an Artist. Where required, Artist may be required to supply additional consent and/or to obtain and submit the background check to Sponsor, or take any other steps as may be reasonably requested by Sponsor to facilitate a background check. Failure to return Notification Documents, and/or Artist’s failure to fully comply with these T&Cs, or if negative information is revealed as a result of a background check, or if Artist cannot continue with the Talent Search for any reason, or if an Artist is found to make any false statement(s), then such Artist’s invitation to travel may be withdrawn and canceled. To the extent permitted by law, participation constitutes permission for Sponsor, UPROXX and their respective agents to use any Artist’s name, Application, hometown, likeness, photographs, videos, statements, social media handles, and all other materials submitted in connection with the Application for purposes of advertising, Talent Search and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. Furthermore, the Sponsor, UPROXX, and/or its agents may film, record and/or take photographs of Artist ("additional content"), and Sponsor shall own all rights to the additional content, of any Artist before/during/after the Application process and Production and may use the resulting footage, recordings and/or photographs for any purpose, including, without limitation, for marketing and promoting the Sponsor, UPROXX, and any partner and their respective products and services, with no additional compensation provided to any Artist. Artists waive any and all rights (including moral rights) in and to such additional content. Artists may be required to complete additional documentation to this effect in order to participate.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND/OR AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THIS TALENT SEARCH.
